Day Trip To Montgomery Outdoor Museum

Riding down I-85 South or Interstate 85 South from Atlanta, Georgia during the Summer of 2026 is a great way to experience what one might call a " Road Trip ".

Still others who are not aware where this particular road may lead them; get ready to pass Newnan, Georgia then LaGrange, Georgia while crossing over the Chattahoochee River into the State of Alabama from Georgia.

Now be warned, if someone start singing an ole Alabama Country Music Song, join the Chorus.








The first city that you will encounter on I 85 in Alabama is the City of Opelika.

Not very far away from that place, is the City of Auburn, Alabama.


You could get off onto route 81 to goto Tuskegee University.

By the way, at this point, you are now in the Tuskegee National Forest.

Many people like to stop along the way to fuel up their vehicles.

Nevertheless, entering Montgomery County to visit the City of Montgomery is not confusing.

Montgomery is the birthplace of the Civil Rights Movement in the United States of America.

I think the visit was well worth it.
