Five Easy Things You Need To Do When Bartering Your Services Or Products Effectively


The definition of "Barter" is to exchange Goods or Services for equal Value.
It is important to perform these (5) five things when bartering below:

1) Before you make the decision to barter with an Individual or Business, know the background of this person or entity to the best of your ability.
Do not rush into an agreement without utilizing "due diligence" and "Do Not Appear Desperate".
Have a "Needed Value" in mind; A "Needed Value" is some currency, service or product you can not afford to purchase, but want to acquire or you ought to have in your possession.(E.g. If you want gasoline for your vehicle and you have a 10 Gallon Tank, the cost to fill-up that automobile is $2.00 per gallon at a total of $20.00 USD. Therefore, your "Needed Value" is $20.00 USD.)

2) Set a "Barter Value" for your services or products slightly above (No more than 10% higher) your "Needed Value",whereas, if you need to negotiate, you will fall no more than 10% to your "Needed Value" or right on mark.

An Example Of A Barter


(E.g. Let's say your "Barter Value" is 2 hours of Labor to clean an Office Building for $20.00 USD Dollars in gasoline to travel to a Conference in another County or Province. You offer the Owner your services starting at $22.00 for 1.8 hours of labor. If the Owner says, "No", you immediately ask professionally what they had in mind. If the Owners says, "$18.00 for 2.5 hours", you throw in an incentive and readjust your rate in 5% increments below your original offer with the maximum discount being 10% or until an agreement is reached that you can live with. Note: Do not sell yourself short, know the labor rates in your country, state, province, county or district.)

3) Once a verbal agreement has been discussed, go a step further and make the Barter a written contract. Most legally binding contracts possess a date, two signatures of the parties establishing the agreement, a statement explaining the implementation of the understanding of the exchange of goods or services and a disclaimer protecting yourself (or) business from any unforeseen circumstances that may occur.

4) Always, be polite, professional, on-time and very knowledgeable. If you are going to meet with the Individual or Company that you desire to create this form of venture with, be on time or at least (15) fifteen minutes ahead of schedule. Dress professional, be clean and well groomed.

5) Think positive at all times. Always have at least (5) five plans to pursue regarding your barter. If the person or business says "No" on the initial approach, ask politely for a reason why. Listen carefully to comprehend while making adjustments to your approach or business then, ask to follow-up with them in 1 to 2 weeks time. Follow-up as promised and re-negotiate your offering. Don't give up, give-in or give out if all fails; do not panic. Take a physical and mental break - relax. Find something to take your mind off your situation like giving back (Volunteering), then allow yourself to recover while going at it again.

Answer from C. Henry: Since 1998, We (BIE, Inc) have slowly emerged. Once, I was laid off from a Major Telecommunications Company which caused me to loss just about everything. Now, I've always had my Business (BIE, Inc.) on the side just waiting for the right moment to grow into an International Communication Conglomerate. Well, anyway...I convinced Relatives to give me an old broke down Station Wagon in their Garage for free. I then bartered with a Mechanic to build a website in lieu of paying for some repairs to the Vehicle.


2. Question to C. Henry: C. Henry, would you barter stocks and bonds with someone for physical items like land or other property?

Answer from C. Henry: If the U.S. Securities Exchange Commission allow you to barter your stocks or bonds...I would definitely take that opportunity into consideration. But, before I say "Yes" or "No", I would check Federal, State, County and Local laws to see if bartering in that magnitude is even legally possible.


3. Question to C. Henry: C. Henry, did you have a written barter system concept to share with the U.S. Federal Government or World regarding bartering.

Widget Press's ModelBaker Founder, Developer, Everything: "Who Is Jonathan Freeman?"



I hope you understand that I don't know if I believe in this saying, "Six (6) Degrees of Separation", but I will agree that there is a time and season for everybody and everything. That being said, my company was seeking assistance with a PHP Development Project when a Colleague located in the Country of Belgium recommended the Atlanta PHP Group.

Well, the Atlanta PHP Group has a Profile located on Facebook. This particular PHP Group meets the 1st Thursday of every month in the Consulate General's Office of Canada located here in Atlanta, Ga USA. The Group discuss information and share knowledge regarding PHP. PHP is PHP: Hypertext Preprocessor developed by Rasmus Lerdorf in 1994. It is a code placed in HTML or web page language. "What!!!?" Seriously, that is the actual definition.

Moreover, following another meeting in downtown Atlanta that I attended that night; I drove over to their gathering and a Young Man by the name of Jonathan Freeman was giving a presentation with a demonstration of his latest innovative software called, "ModelBaker" on an Apple Computer.

So, who is Jonathan Freedman? Jonathan Freeman is the developer of ModelBaker a PHP, Javascript, Apache Server, CSS, CakePHP and MySQL based software to say the very least.

Alright, being late...I walked in on a history making event. Here was a Person or should I say Computer Software Genius enthralled in sharing his knowledge to a secure building, packed room of Computer Programming PHP Lovers.

Ladies and Gentlemen, here in the beautiful City of Atlanta, G-A, quite possibly the next Microsoft - Type Company (I Mean that in a very nice way; "A Major Software Company") has developed an Innovative way to create extremely dynamic web sites and databases involving PHP, Javascript, MySQL, Apache, CAKEPHP and CSS just to name few open source software languages.

Now, for me being a PC utilizing Business Man...I would have to succumb to using an Apple Computer with 1.25GHz to make web sites, build complex web based databases and much much more starting under $400.00 USD according the "Widget Press" website. By the way, I'm incline to believe that this would be the ideal path to follow in high dynamic web development.

A Characteristic Of Uncommon Valor In Business: "Save Education, Save Morris Brown College!"


The definition of valor is bravery or courage. Which brings to mind a struggling Institution and its characteristics to forge through a mighty battle of mere survival. Their are many acts of valor and as a Veteran, I'm familiar with one unique form of being brave. That is uncommon valor.

Which brings to mind Morris Brown College. Its been six years since Morris Brown College had accreditation and its been several days since the school lost a building to surmounting debt in an auction.

I must admit as a Citizen of Atlanta, I have a serious interest and concern in Morris Brown College.

It is not because I'm of African American Descent or because I'm even a Member of the Church Organization that started this great Institution.

But, it is because I'm aware that this School which many People have stop short of calling a "blasphemy" has transform many lives in the City of Atlanta, County of Fulton, State of Georgia and the United States of America.

The races, creeds and national origins of the lives this particular educational organization has affected over 100 plus years and to this very day has a direct effect on the U.S. and Global Economy whether it be small while insignificant to large of overwhelming proportions.

You might ask, well - how do you know this C. Henry Adams? Stop, take a look around you for instance. If you can find just one person who attended Morris Brown College in your City or Town dead or alive, that is how we know these things.

If you are not convince still yet, that saving this Institution is vital to the City of Atlanta, State of Georgia or even the United States of America...then watch as other Institutions also fall to the way side in this economy and do nothing.

So what do you think? Do you know anyone that attended Morris Brown College that raise a Child or had influence on Children that became influential Adults? Before you answer utilizing race, don't - why, because the underlying factor is "Positive Influence reflecting on all individuals knowingly or unknowingly".

Adult Entertainment We Can All Live With Today: "Who Is J & J Entertainment Foundation, Inc."


In 2003, I was actively Adult Roller Skating and somewhat ashamed of telling my fellow brethren what I was doing. Why? Well, I did not want anyone to think that I was weak, which I'm not. Nevertheless, for Me as a Single Straight Male of African American Descent it was the ideal thing to do when meeting single available Females.

Not to mention being a great pastime event, good for the heart, no alcohol or drugs involved and plenty of opportunity to socialize after a hard day or week at work.

Needless to say, being single for me can suck really bad without a special someone in your life.

So, when I heard of an Adult Roller Skating Night on "Thursday Nights" located at Skate Towne off of Old National Highway in College Park, Ga., I decided to go and check it out.

Well, when I arrived- I met some familiar faces, James- a Mid-Level Manager of a Major Record Company and Jennifer an Experienced Roller Skater & Business Lady.

Today, J & J Entertainment Foundation, Inc. focuses on producing quality affordable events such as "Free" Summer Outdoor Concerts in the Park for Fulton County Government and the weekly Grown Folks Skate Jams at Skate Towne on Old National Highway.

A Modern Day Investment Guru: Who is Donald A. Wagley?


Donald A. Wagley is a 74 year old, Youthful, Semi-Retired Entrepreneur,Investment Guru, Mentor and all around good Person. Born and raise in the great State of Missouri, he grasp education as a youth and propel himself to the University of Missouri in 1952. In 1953 he entered into the United States Navy and served to 1960. After the Navy, he received his Bachelor of Science Degree from Southeast Missouri State University.

In 1963, after leaving Missouri for Sunny Florida, he work for Ralston Purina Company as his first corporate job at the age of 26 in Jacksonville, Florida. He worked two years with trade associations in Florida where he learn how politics work.

In 1976, he started his first company following a recession in Clearwater, Florida. Then in 1978, he successfully created a training program for Carpet Cleaners which resulted in 44 Franchises in 11 States where he educated these companies to use color dye on carpet.

Well in 1979, he sold his interest in the business, but continued to provide services in Pest Control, Carpet Sales and Carpet Cleaning.

In 1985, he sold the business and moved to the Atlanta Metro Area.
There in 1986,he reinvest his time to engage in Real Estate and raise Millions of Dollars through stockbrokers and Financial Planners in seven southern states for affordable housing while working with a Firm based out of Los Angeles, CA.

Well, driven to continue his dreams, in 1988, he started G N & W Capital Corporation ("GNW") established in the State of Georgia. This organization raised Millions of Dollars in funds for affordable housing all over the United States of America. It is estimated that GNW equity capital was well over 20 Million Dollars for some 1,500 Apartment Homes in several States.

In 1995, the Governor of the State of Georgia- Zell Miller, appointed Donald A. Wagley to attend a Small Business Conference of 1,500 other Small Business(es) from around the Nation at the White House with the 42nd U.S. President Bill Clinton.

Mr. Wagley's Company was not without its struggles, fore, he downsized his Company from 40 employees to a few in 1996 and continued onward. Always in search for a new investment opportunity, Mr. Wagley discovered interest in the Internet the same year.

What Are Several Ways To Inspire Employees And Yourself To Build A Successful Business? How about your "you-got-tos". Everybody has "you-got-tos". We share with you our "you-got-tos" to encourage you to develop your own "you-got-tos."

1) You got to put God 1st.
2) You got to use discernment.
3) You got to surround yourself with positive thinking and doing people.
4) You got to associate yourself with like-minded people.
5) You got to be determine to fight against all odds with the help of God.
6) You definitely got to be patient.
7) You got to be a Leader & a Follower.
8) You got to be a person of your Word.
9) You got to know what you are getting into before you get into it.

How To Do Business With The U.S. Department Of The Interior?


On Wednesday Februrary 11th, 2009 at 9:00 AM EST located in College Park, Georgia (Atlanta Metro Area), the U.S. Department of Interior held the first of a series of Workshops that will cover three other Cities including the Washington D. C. Area. This one day event, starting with registration at 8:30 AM and lasting to 4:00 PM was held at the Georgia International Convention Center on 2000 Convention Center Concourse. It was sponsored by the Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization or ("OSDBU").


One of the featured Speakers and a person proactive throughout the workshop was Mark Oliver Director of the Office of Small & Disadvantaged Business Utilization. The purpose of this workshop was to inform Small Business(es) that there is approximately 7 Billion Dollars that may be set aside for the U.S. Department of the Interior regarding the Stimulus Package and this is our opportunity to win Prime Contracts or Subcontracts with this organization.


The mission statement of the OSDBU is stated, "The Office provides outreach and assistance for procurement and contracting opportunities to small, small disadvantaged, women-owned, service disabled and veteran-owned businesses and businesses located in Historically Underutilized Business Zones (HUBZone) areas and guidance to the Interior's contracting and management officials on small business".


This unique workshop in our opinion is a real sign that the Federal Government wants to reach out to Small Business to help save the U.S. Economy and the World. For out of the nine (9) inner offices (Bureau of Indian Affiars (BIA), Bureau of Land Management (BLM), Bureau of Reclamation (BOR), U.S. Fish & Wildlife Services (FWS), Minerals Management Service (MMS), National Business Center (NBC), National Park Service (NPS), Office of Surface Mining Reclamation and Enforcement (OSM) and U.S. Geological Survey (USGS)) representatives were present whether it was the Director from Washington D.C. we mentioned earlier himself.


So, if you ask where to start, do the following: 1) Register in CCR.gov to become eligible to participate and receive a CAGE Code. 2) Get in touch with the Small Business Administration. 3) Get Educated and get involved.


We personally hung out with Mr. Dannie James, a former Georgia Tech. - GTPAC Officer who currently serves as President of JE Consultant Group LLC and Government Business Consultant Inc. or a Consultant to Small, Medium and Large Business(es) regarding Government Contracting. Our purpose for doing this very thing was to educate ourselves and gain major insight on the Government Contracting Process.

First,let us state, that this is a definition Individuals and Business Owners should become familiar with during the Advancement of Information Technology.

Social Engineering is what? Well, in our understanding - to go along with what was stated above, social engineering is when someone suspects you of something or the possession of some knowledge they are seeking; they purposely take an indirect approach to obtain information from you that you are unaware of parting with in almost a masterful plot or scheme. That is a pretty long definition, but if you don't understand now - when it happens to you...this description and many others will ring true.

Are you scared? Don't be. Why? Well, because you have probably utilized social engineering in your lifetime in one aspect or another to obtain information yourself.

Knowledge is definitely power, but wisdom with what one knows is better.
Basically, Social Engineering can be utilized for good or evil.
There are many forms of this practice and probably a number of techniques too lengthy for us to discuss in this blog.

We are introducing this terminology, technique, practice and possible standard by those individuals who primary objective is to gather information secretly, steal or even worse destroy your creditability through Identification Theft, to simply make you aware.

What Is Business Intelligence?


In our definition, Business Intelligence ("BI") encompass the gathering of pertinent information regarding a certain commercial enterprise related matter in effort to assess, determine and act accordingly.
This process for the lack of a better term - is a stimuli in relations to the daily operations of our organization.

Fore, it is important to examine critically any opportunity before making a decision and calling it into action.

In other words, "Know what you are getting into before you get into it."

Many times, we have written discussions or blogs unaware of how they would be interpret. Furthermore, by revealing our Company, we have place ourselves under observation by others.

But knowingly its our objective to draw positive speculation to our services- we utilized marketing techniques like this one to draw your attention to our not so obvious professional abilities.

That being said, what is the act of explaining the nature of business intelligence?

Is it tommorrow's Web 3.0, Business Intelligence 2.0 or

How Should Small Business Service Owners Deal With Banks That Charge Fees To Cash Checks?


In this economy, a Small Business Owner knows that every little thing counts. So, if they take a check received by the Client to the bank of the Client, it is expected to be good. However, this in itself is a risk, because the business person is relying on the "trust" of the individual or company they are doing business with at that moment.

But now, it is very frustrating when you go to a particular financial location and attempt to cash a $50.00 USD check or more of hard earned money to be charged $6.00 USD for making the transaction.

"Man & Woman! There ought to be a law against this...C. Henry, why don't you get with the 44th Prez. and tell him on his Blackberry about this type of robbery!"

This was pretty much a summed up statement of many comments I heard today over the telephone from one of the fellow Business Owners we know.

First, let me state clearly from the last to the first words in this conversation, as far as, I know, I don't have the 44th Prez. ear (He does not hear me or read my blogs) nor do we have his email address. So, please do not assume that...I'm just blogging here Secret Service no harm at all. LOL

Secondly, there is no federal law making banks cash checks or preventing banks from cashing your checks.

So, after reading that information, we decided to call (4) Banks randomly that I would like to continue doing business with in the near future.

Now, we know from experience, that how you carry yourself and approach people alone with the proper terminology, you will in fact open doors closed to many a person.
So, we devised a script to approach this issue with careful attention to detail, please read below:

Should We Be Weary Of Data Mining Techniques Used To Gather Intelligence From Us On The Internet?


Lately, I have not been living up to the amusing side of my personality, because I had to literally cut out my attitude to fit within 2000 characters.

Someone said, "So what C. Henry, who cares".

Well, I guess you will care about this story when I finish telling it.

Why? Its about you. Someone said, "And how so, C. Henry?"

On the Internet you are never alone, you are constantly tracked and you constantly leave some sort of trail.

What is it that watches you?

Cookies and Special Tokens installed on your Computer or the Computers you utilized.

Someone said, "Well, I don't have a PC (Personal Computer), I have a PDA
(Personal Data Assistant)".

Not only are you tracked by where ever you go on the Internet, but you can be tracked by Antennas and Satellites when you carry the PDA.

Note: It's Marketing Research so don't panic.

According to the Author Harry Newton - The 22nd Edition of Newton's Telecom Dictionary page 280, data mining refers to using sophisticated data search capabilities that use statistical algorithms to discover patterns and correlations in data.

What!!!? Ok, there are Companies watching you on the Internet and calculating where we are going next while browsing the Internet, a result of data mining.


You don't believe me?

Well, if you frequent a web site where alot of ads are displayed, for the next seven days try this little non-scientific experiment.

Go only to a set number (Ex.Visit 4 Web Sites) of the same websites of major companies that week from Monday thru Friday.

Starting on Wednesday during that time, note 1 to 3 online ads displayed.
(Ex. If you goto Publix Supermarket Website, look for food related ads.)

Saturday, tally your findings and determine if we are correct.

Note: Your whereabouts are always tracked.

Why? Because you create a pattern.

We were asked by Individuals who supplemented their income by serving as MLM Agents to network with them. Well, our first impressions of MLM Agents are not good.
But, that is not utilizing tact and professionalism.

Who Is Walter Franks III?

How Do You Handle Being Laid-Off?


According to the Georgia Department of Labor Website http://www.dol.state.ga.us as of 01/26/09, the Georgia Unemployment Rate is 8.1%. The National Unemployment Rate is 7.2%.

This information could be depressing and dismal to many people. Instead, let's look for opportunity in what is considered a disaster. As a business person - I have experienced being laid-off. However, their is always hope.

Speaking of hope, below are (7) seven things I did to counteract:

No. 1 - I made up in my mind that I was not going to let unemployment depress me.

No. 2 - I act on recovering from this disaster by going to look for employment and file unemployment.

No. 3 - I focus on developing my "side business" into a full-time business. May I suggest you consider becoming an Independent Contractor or start a Small Business.

No. 4 - If I did not have Internet Access at Home, I sign-up for a Library Card and gained access there. When I finally got a Laptop Computer, I purchased a Wireless Card and visit a Local Hotspot ("Free Wireless Internet"). Note: The Internet is your key for gaining opportunity and maintaining a positive profile.

No. 5 - Exercise as well as self-educate - I cut down on watching television period. I found things to read about related to my profession and for entertainment purposes only. I also took long walks with loveones, relatives or alone.

No. 6 - Don't increase Alcohol or Drugs of any kind at any level of consumption. In fact, I ride a motorcycle - so, I try very hard not to drink alcohol when operating this vehicle period.

No. 7 - Think positive period. It will be difficult at times to do, I assure you, but if you consider following these steps mentioned above, you will get positive results no matter how big or small.

Is Hearing The Word "No" A Death Sentence?


If I had a dime for everytime I heard someone tell me "No", I would not have a lot of money. But who says I have alot money now? LOL Nevertheless, the money I did possess, do possess and will possess comes from Clients who say "Yes".
But, believe it or not - some once said, "No".

Alright, the majority of the Clients now are "Repeat Clients" which says a lot.

Persistence is part of the name of the game. Why is it only a part and not a whole?

Well for instance, you need Due Diligence, Patience, Timing, Respect for the Client & Yourself, Professional Courtesy and Determination to play the "Yes" game.

Finally, when someone tells you "No I'm not interested", don't say something nasty and walk away. Instead, take the opportunity to gain understanding why the answer was "No".

Example: Well, thank you very much for your time and consideration.
However, may I ask why you aren't interested in the service or product we are offering for future references?

This question - if properly utilized should 'open the opportunity for further dialog' or lead to a future follow-up.

But, "No" is not a "Death Sentence, its just a slight delay to a "Yes" one day.

Morris Brown College, Is It A Marketing Opportunity?




We make risk assessments and then take risk. Perhaps we live on the edge. Perhaps we think "out of the box"; some would say that we think in "left field", then they would later join us. Which comes to the question of a "well known" College called, Morris Brown College in Atlanta, Georgia-USA.

Is it a marketing opportunity?

Currently, the economy is in a recession. In the Atlanta Metro Area; Naval Air Station Atlanta has closed, a GM Plant has closed, a Ford Plant has closed, Fort McPherson is scheduled to close, a Mattress Company closed in Mableton, Georgia; a Factory in West Georgia burnt, a Panasonic Factory in Fayette County closed, Restaurants around the City closed....in short unemployment has greatly increased.

Yet, recently a Solar Panel Plant or type of Green Technology Plant open in Gwinnett County, Georgia.

If Morris Brown College offers weekend, evening and online courses to the "untraditional student of all races, creeds and national origins" - would not that be an opportunity to counteract the job market by re-training skilled workers for different work like "Green Technology Training" which is vital to our environment?

Furthermore, what if a Major Corporation or a Small Business needs a Research Facility or Office Space? Better still, what if the same business(es) need Interns that could eventually stay on to become Loyal Employees? Better still, by donating thousands to millions of U.S. Dollars for renovation to help educate minds, what do you think?

Why Did ANMG Visit ACIR (Advisory Committee on International Relations) For The City Of Atlanta?




On Wednesday January 21, 2009, one day after the inauguration of the 44th President; we were humbled when we had the opportunity to grace the World in Atlanta, Georgia.

ANMG was invited by Mr. Ray Ortega, an outstanding member of ANMG - LinkedIn to visit the meeting of The Advisory Committee on International Relations ("ACIR") where he serve as a Committee Member.

So, what's the significance of the visit? Well, if we are going to connect to the World from Atlanta - why not connect to it through individuals and organizations who are here in this great city first.

The ACIR has been in support of International Organizations for 25 years. They help improve relationships between local foreign consulates, chamber of commerce, community leaders and our City Government.

My point is simple, the decline of the United States Economy has significantly effected countries around the World. This is not the time to beg, but to give. If we have decided to network and put together resources around Atlanta and the Nation, then why not the World. As a Citizen of the United States, we ought to be concern about everyone's welfare to a certain extent. Why, because quite simply, it is better to give then receive.

In business, if you have a lead for another business to prosper, don't hold back. If the representative or owner of that business has a similar mind frame, then it is likely that he or she will not forget to return the favor. As the President said in his Inaugural Speech in so many words, greed is one of the reasons the U.S. Economy is in this fix. Therefore, we all need to come together.

Finally, being aware of the hardships many are faced with today in Atlanta and abroad, we can't afford to stay thinking in our boxes. Fore, it is definitely time to think out of the box and walk forth in the future with the objective to succeed.

What Are The Indicators Of Possible Identification Theft?

You know, its high time we stand up as People of the World and tell these Identification Thieves that their work is not appreciated here. Get Out And Stay Out Of My Business!

Ok, C. Henry...who has gotten you mad today? Well, I received a call from an Online Representative of a College or University stating on January 13th, 2009...I signed up for courses there.

Now wait a minute now! Tuesday January 13th, 2009, I recall having a conference call, freezing my butt off in the cold and acting stupid on Facebook after 5PM EST.

That's it!. An indicator. On Facebook,limit the information about you.

Ok, C. Henry....this is crazy....what if I don't have Facebook?

Basically, what I'm saying, with any Social Network, you need to limit information about yourself to protect you from being a subject of Identification Theft.

Furthermore, to counteract the Identification Theft take down or record as much about the act as possible to report to the proper Authorities.

Below are indicators of Identification Theft and how to counteract in my opinion:

1) If you have been signed up for anything, anywhere without your knowledge or authority.

Counteraction: Deny the action. Then, immediately cancel the action. Request all available information to be sent back to you if the address or phone number is correct. If the address or phone number is not correct DO NOT provide any information. Let the person who contacted you - tell you first, but don't confirm.
DO NOT be a victim of social engineering. If the person deny you access to your personal information regarding yourself, kindly remind them there is a "Freedom of Information Act" in the United States and you will find out - one way or the other.

2) If you are contacted via phone, email, instant message by an unknown source and they pretend to to know you or a friend or colleague.

Counteraction: Listen to your instinct. If the situation does not feel right it may not be right. Again do not provide information. A social engineering tactic used to gain further information about you is often used by thieves or other sources.

Example: Reverse the question. So, what is your name. May I have your email address. No, you already have my email address. What is my Name? You know my name. Is that my name, I don't know, you tell me. OK, time for me to go.
If you spend more than 30 seconds on the phone with them.... be aware that they maybe taking notes on everything you are stating....so cut the conversation short and close it.

3) If you receive a bill in the mail about an item you did not purchase.

Counteraction: a) Don't Panic, stay calm as possible. Note the credit card number or account number on the invoice or bill. b) Compare that information with information you have regarding your credit card or account number...if matches, then confirm the purchase with your significant other or Accounting Department.
If the purchase can not be confirmed, gather as much information about the place that is billing you through research on the Internet including whether or not the contact information matches the place. If it does not match...contact the local authorities and the FBI .

If the Company that is billing you turns out to be legitimate, then ascertain all available information about the"purchaser" from the company as follows: the date of purchase, time of day, mode of purchase, male or female, race, creed, national origin, whether the purchase was made by phone, in person, by mail or by the Internet.

If the purchase was made by the Internet gather the "IP Address" information and email address submitted if its different from yours, again, cancel the claim while reporting this to the Authorities.

After gathering all this information, cancel credit card immediately, closed account and reopen new account. Furthermore, check your credit report and set your credit information for monitoring of suspicious activity through legitimate Credit Bureau. < Equifax, TransUnion & > You may even considering freezing your credit.

4) If their is a warrant for your arrest in another city, county, state or country for fraud purchases that you did not commit.

Counteraction: Seek immediate assistance from an Attorney. Research where charges are stemming from and cancel credit cards or closed accounts if they are in your name and your possession. Gather evidence to prove your innocence.

5) If you receive an "unsolicited" email from what might appear to be your Bank, a Credit Card Company or IRS.

Counteraction: Do not open it until you contact the entity to confirm whether they sent it. This could be a "Phish" Scam. Do not click on any links and respond by inputting any information. Furthermore, there is a way to determine a scam, if you place your "cursor" over the link or image without clicking on it....look down in the bottom left corner of your browser. Then, compare the URL (Example: "http://www.scamemail.com")or website to the company or bank you belong to...
Note: This is not always an accurate way to determine a scam, but its a start.
