Something's Ugly Going On In the World

by C.Henry AdaMS

( Correction) You know there are ugly situations going on in the World. I Have heaRD from the only US Ambassador that I know that is still alive and quite able.

You also know that this truth holds true when many people flock to the election polls to voice there opinions, thoughts and grievences.

You also know that this true statement is a reality when yourself struggle harder to stay alive.

According to Artificial Intelligence Overviews:

The U.S. G20 Presidency (for the 2026 cycle, culminating in the Miami summit) focuses its policy framework on pro-growth economics, technological innovation, energy security, and regulatory modernization.
U.S. 2026 G20 Policy Priorities and Working Groups
Under the U.S. leadership, the G20 operates through dedicated working groups to drive core economic outcomes:
  • Growth and Deregulation: Prioritizes pro-growth policies supported by deregulation, regulatory modernization, addressing excessive global imbalances, debt transparency, and cross-border payment security.
  • Emerging Technologies & AI: Focuses on deploying new technologies to boost economic growth, human flourishing, supply chain resilience, and skilled technology talent.
  • Financial Sector & Digital Assets: Works on modernizing supervisory frameworks (such as Basel III and FSB/FATF standards), regulating digital assets, and combatting illicit finance and payment fraud.

  • Reliable Energy: Aims to unlock reliable energy sources and advance infrastructure access.

Yet, Top diplomats at the G20 Foreign Ministers' Meeting in Atlanta, Georgia wrapped up their two-day summit on October 31, 2026, without issuing a joint communique due to deep divisions over global conflicts.
    Key Outcomes & Summary
    • Chairman's Statement: In place of a joint communique, U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio prepared and released a Chair’s Summary reflecting the discussions and areas of divergence.
    • Canceled Group Photo: The traditional family photo of the foreign ministers was canceled after European diplomats threatened to boycott or walk out over the presence of Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.
    • Core Focus Areas: Despite the diplomatic rifts, the meetings—chaired by U.S. Department of State leadership—centered on economic security, supply chain resilience, food security, and freedom of navigation across critical maritime routes like the Strait of Hormuz, the Red Sea, the Black Sea, and the South China Sea.
    • Path to the Leaders' Summit: The Atlanta talks served as the final major ministerial prelude ahead of the G20 Leaders’ Summit scheduled for December 14–15, 2026, in Miami, Florida.
    • No Joint Communique: Because of sharp disagreements—primarily over Russia’s war in Ukraine, the Middle East/Iran situation, and differing stances on member participation (such as the exclusion of South Africa and the inclusion of Russia)—the group abandoned a traditional joint statement.

Yet, the current Governor of the State of Georgia of the United States said,
    just October 30th 2026:

Governor Brian P. Kemp recently announced that Georgia broke tourism records for the fourth year in a row and ranked No. 5 in the nation for domestic overnight visitation for the sixth straight year in 2025. A new high of 175.6 million visitors to Georgia spent a record $46.2 billion on lodging, restaurants, transportation, and other local businesses across the state.

    So, what do you thinks?
