A Disturbing Change In The AME Church

For 179 years in the State of Georgia, Big Bethel AME Church has always had a Fellowship Hall.

The Senior Pastor, Board of Trustees and Stewards , changed the " Fellowship Hall "  name to the " Bishop's Hall ".

Now, how does that make me feel?  To answer this question.

" I'm just an ordinary person with the extradinary desire to come to a Church that I have known  about all of my life on this Earth. "

In the words of the AME Members that were here before me,  " Most of Us are struggling for dear life... "

As I take this step to speak out about it without attending a Church Conference to discuss it, I will reframe from further comment.

However,  millions of african americans over 179 years who have passed  through Atlanta, Georgia should

have a chance to express their mental action.

As a former Trustee and Steward of another AME Church, I feel that is my duty to express this cognitive process.
