Perhaps, it's no big secret that the 6th biggest bottleneck area in the United States of America is located west of Atlanta, Georgia on I-20 & I-285. Yes, I am embarrassed, but very blessed to know this information too.
How? Well, the 10th District of Atlanta Georgia City Council Lady Andrea Boone invited this big mouth ole man to the I-285 / I-20 West Interchange Project Meeting for the Citizens of West Atlanta, Georgia on Thursday, June 25th, 2026.
The Georgia Department of Transportation Project Office presented an outstanding update of what was going on at C. T. Martin Natatorium 3201 Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive Atlanta, Georgia 30311.

The budget for this project is 1.2 Billion USD.
They cleared areas to build noise walls and control the blasting of granite rock.
The meeting started at 5:00 pm and end at 6:30 pm with GDOT staff available to answer all questions.
