Spending Fat Tuesday (2/17/26) at the Georgia Capitol regarding HB 1063

My Grandmother, Mable Williams Adams and my Grandfather Henry Adams were born just a few years after the Georgia Capitol located in Atlanta, Georgia USA  and was completed in March of 1889.

Having walked, rode or drove by this place many times and rarely visited it since my youth, I really did not understand its significance until my middle age.

I knew the 1789  Georgia Constitution was a model of the United States Constitution.  It ensures conformity with the federal government, adopting a bicameral legislature, a stronger executive branch, and separation of powers.

What is a bicameral legislature.  Basically, separate chambers for the House and Senate.Well, on FAT Tuesday which is the last day before ASH Wednesday every year in the United States in my opinion,  we visited the Georgia Legislature to hear about HB 1063.

HB 1063 is a House Bill that
Electric utilities; protect residential and retail electricity customers from costs associated with data center construction and operation; require "

Below is room 450 where Special Committee Members of the House / Senate meet to make decisions on bills.  The Special Committee met to discuss HB 1063.

   The Senate read the bill and referred to it.
