Sustainability Summit In East Point, Georgia

In the wake of a financial recovery from the recession, East Point, Georgia Citizens, Local Small Green Business Owners along with Non-profit Organizations discovered a way to support all of the Citizens of East Point.

This unique and very helpful approach is supported by East Point City Councilman of Ward A , Mr. E. Alexander Gothard. It ties in Conservation of Energy, Healthy Living by planting gardens and educating the East Point Citizen on Financial Sustainability just to name a few.

The event is called the 'Sustainability Summit' and this hotly contested occasion will be held at the Jefferson Recreation Center on 1431 Norman Berry Drive in East Point, Georgia Saturday, July 27th 2013 from 10:00 am until 3:00 pm.

Fliers were passed out to residents of East Point, Georgia stating, " Let us show you how GOING GREEN can help lower your monthly bills, improve your health, and enhance your quality of life! "

Also located on the Flyer it stated, " Free Giveaways! First 100 seniors with valid East Point ID will receive a free floor fan to help stay cool in the hot summer. "

It is expected that 300 to 500 East Point Citizens will attend this event.

It appears that Grassroots Campaigns and Social Media Advertisement plays a very important role in getting the word out to thousands of East Point, Georgia Citizens.

As innovations in modern communications continue to increase our focus, as well as, awareness of activities in our Communities, Cities, Counties, States and Regions; East Point Young Leaders are not afraid to utilize these tools effectively.

FALSE or MISLEADING info or advertisement about YOU found on the Internet

This Microblog question below quickly became something to discuss for a number of reasons:

Question: Do you think FALSE or MISLEADING info or advertisement about YOU found on the Internet can ruin your life in the REAL WORLD?

Here is a question posed.

Somebody said, " I don't know C. Henry, what do you think?"

My Reply: I believe that it could damage.   BUT, being of Good Character saves.


I believe that DUE DILIGENCE should apply regarding a person with possible negative information found on the Internet.  Same thing should apply to a business.  Perhaps 90 days or a Probational Period should apply.


Somebody asked, "C. Henry, what is an example of FALSE or MISLEADING info or advertisement found on the Internet about a person?"


My Reply:  Information from a past incident in your life or family member's life, whereas, it directly affect you getting a job or contract.


Someone asked, " So, what can I do to overcome this mess? "


My Reply:  1) Don't Give Up      2) Remain Calm   3) Be Positive while moving forward.



My Reply continues...   4) Don't pay extortion for past misgivings.   5) If asked DIRECTLY, answer truthfully. If not, leave it alone.


LOL Somebody said, " Mr. C. Henry, now where did you learn this strategy and tactic?"

Prayers and Condolences for Moore, Oklahoma

Being the Constant Entity in the Business of Posting on Social Media

Recently, I wrote another one of those Micro-blogs which I was sincerely hoping someone would grasp.

Anyway, for your viewing pleasure, please feel free to read it below:

Somebody said, "C. Henry,  BIE Media Group and you do a lot of posting on Facebook, why?"

My Reply: Quantitatively, a business that shares Facebook posts or any type of Social Media feed with helpful information could likely benefit from branding their Company or Organization's Name in the process directly or indirectly.

My Reply:  Warning , you should not assume one Social Media entity will gather all the results
( acquire your target market results) that your Organization desire.   Utilize a number of Social Media sites to spread the knowledge of your existence.

Someone said, "Why is that?"

My Reply: Think of an Expressway, whereas, many vehicles (Driving Force of Interest, Need or Desire) are all going in the same directions (e.g.
the destination to purchase) at different speeds

In other words, Drivers ("Clients and Potential Clients") have identified the Market they choose to purchase a product or service from utilizing the Internet.  Now, they are moving in the direction to purchase.  Be mindful, some may exit this expressway before making a purchase.  While on the other hand, the journey to purchase a product or service maybe slow, long and still ongoing for those who continue to travel.  This means they are still traveling to the destination to purchase, but at different paces.

In each vehicle, the Driver is thinking differently from others among himself or herself regarding the interest of a product or service while maintaining velocity along their journey.

It is a likelihood that not all Drivers will arrive at their point of destination (Destination to Purchase) at the same time.

Thus, the helpful information you might share on Social Media is seen at different times by a different User   ("Clients and Potential Clients") who might not use Facebook, but take advantage of Twitter, LinkedIn  etc.

They  ("Clients and Potential Clients") arrive at their destination to purchase a product or service while reacting to it in various manners or behaviors.

If your Organization is seen as a "Constant Entity" alone their journey that the User  ("Clients and Potential Clients") takes to the destination to purchase, perhaps it will become a recognized Brand of sorts.
