A Web 2.0 Presence via Internet Radio (C. Henry Adams Blogs Talk Live)




Since January 2009,
Broadcasting Interest Enterprise, Inc.
has been researching Web 2.0 for the benefit of how effective small business could utilize the various web sites (Social Networks) and open source software involved to generate much needed revenue for its Clients.


Let me be the first to say, if you are looking for a "get rich quick scheme"..you are looking in the wrong place.

If you think having "generally" 5,000 facebook("Facebook") Friends is one way to get business, then you are in for a surprise.

If you think paying someone to help you get 1000+ "general" followers on Twitter is one way to get business, then you are in for a surprise.

If you think the Nay-Sayers are correct and Web 2.0 can't generate revenue for any type of business large or small, then you are in for a surprise.

If your company has been surviving on referrals for years and you suddenly see a sharp decrease in sells, but heard about the Internet as a means to market your business. Yet, you are not willing to invest the time, the talent, the workforce of employees into actually getting a very good return on investment. Nor are you willing to listen to a unique model of marketing to determine where your business will fit to achieve its money-making goal via the World Wide Web, then you too are in for a surprise when technology and the way we communicate leave your organization behind.

My friend, if you have not heard it, let me be the first to tell you, marketing on the Internet comes down to utilizing the technology properly and specifically for whatever it is that you do in my opinion. As optimistic as I am and as realistic as I can be...this reality is a positive fact.

Learning To Separate Business From Pleasure On Social Networks Like Facebook






It appears that non-profane words from an individual's mouth are just as damaging as profanity in our society today in my opinion?









Thus, it is important even in the Virtual World to separate business from pleasure. When writing statements on facebook ("Facebook") if you use profanity or not while speaking in a personal regard in an environment you created for commerce, you may jeopardize the opportunity of performing work for future clients.

So, some would argue that a simple solution would be to create two different accounts and maintain these important substances in your life apart.
But, let's say you don't have time to make two Facebook accounts (A Personal or Business Account), what do you do?

Well, here are some suggestions below:

1) If you are utilizing Facebook to attract attention to your business as an enhancement to advertisement in my opinion, do not air your personal affairs.

2) If you are single, married or in a relationship; have any and all romantic
comments directed away from your Facebook Business related site to an email address, telephone call, private chat, private text between that person; not on Twitter.

3) If you are concern that someone will make a comment on the Wall of your Facebook Business related site; remove the ability for "Everyone" to write or leave comments on your wall.

Now, evidently- I have become notorious for having a comment displayed on any Facebook Page where I write, then, later it disappears. Clearly, this is my prerogative , but in the best interest of my company's reputation, we carry-on this process.

It is important that as a business man, I censor myself and watch what I state. So many times have I made comments showing the human side of me without utilizing that professional side. Thus, some necessary corrections had to come into play.

It is amazing how many different people could interpret common language in many different ways. So, that being said, often times...I actually double and triple times...read what I write and try to imagine how it effects someone's life. Why? Well, first I care and second I like to earn wages in the form of money.

Now, I'm not here to tell you how to run your business in relations to marketing enhancements like Facebook or other Social Networks utilizing Web 2.0, but
it would be worth a shot (figure of speech) to consider what is said here.

* With a large number of intelligent people on your Facebook site, you don't have to watch the news on TV or read the daily newspaper constantly because this common culture will share insight on the World with you knowingly or unknowingly.


* With Politicians on your Facebook
site who are truly active in their community, you can make the following observations:

a) Note the number of events this person make you the public aware of in your Country, State or Province, County or Parish, City.

b) Note the number of events this person attend on a regular basis that concerns you the public.

c) Note whether this person is Democrat, Republican, Liberal or of a political party in your country.

d) Note whether this person is an Ultra Conservative, Moderate Conservative, Slightly Conservative, Liberal Thinker or Undecided.

e) Note whether this person will respond to a personal message sent by you or speak if you find them Online in the Facebook Chat Room.

f) Determine the number of times the person utilize their Facebook account to reach the public while displaying integrity.


* With Ministers of Faith on your Facebook site, you can do the following:

a) Seek private advise or spiritual counseling and prayers.

b) You can get information on upcoming events at a local Church or related religious event.

c) You can determine whether you want to follow the wisdom and guidance of this Spiritual Leader by the way they conduct themselves or carry themselves in conversations or actions Online.


* You have the option of removing folk from your list and reinstating them at a later date or permanently removing them period.

* If you are an Optimist and a Realist- you can determine who has a liked-mind over a period of time from observation quietly.


* Surveying consumers for business opportunities without actually applying a questionnaire.

a) A well known individual or celebrity appears to have the ability to make comments that in some instances could be very smart thinking or just the opposite, yet Internet users will respond.

b) The observation of an event perhaps that could yield a negative result or feeling in certain people. Yet, you give the ability to think positive by sharing an uplifting thought. (I.e. The Atlanta Hawks lost Game 4 and were swept by Cleveland, but they went to the Playoffs a Second Year in a row and the people employed by the Arena had jobs beyond the regular season.) In doing so, this process could yield further insight when conversation develops.


* The development of true friendship through thoughtfulness. Saying "Hello" is powerful within itself. Those that speak in return can possibly be tangible in value.

(I.e. Being from the southern region of the United States, I was taught to speak to people because you never will know how they will influence your life. The saying goes, " It's not what you know, its who you know." This is a true statement if applied properly.)


* Invoking peace, love, happiness, wisdom and confidence in others. This holds true when you empower others to move forward regardless of their day or turn of events in their lives.

Five Easy Things You Need To Do When Bartering Your Services Or Products Effectively


The definition of "Barter" is to exchange Goods or Services for equal Value.
It is important to perform these (5) five things when bartering below:

1) Before you make the decision to barter with an Individual or Business, know the background of this person or entity to the best of your ability.
Do not rush into an agreement without utilizing "due diligence" and "Do Not Appear Desperate".
Have a "Needed Value" in mind; A "Needed Value" is some currency, service or product you can not afford to purchase, but want to acquire or you ought to have in your possession.(E.g. If you want gasoline for your vehicle and you have a 10 Gallon Tank, the cost to fill-up that automobile is $2.00 per gallon at a total of $20.00 USD. Therefore, your "Needed Value" is $20.00 USD.)

2) Set a "Barter Value" for your services or products slightly above (No more than 10% higher) your "Needed Value",whereas, if you need to negotiate, you will fall no more than 10% to your "Needed Value" or right on mark.

An Example Of A Barter


(E.g. Let's say your "Barter Value" is 2 hours of Labor to clean an Office Building for $20.00 USD Dollars in gasoline to travel to a Conference in another County or Province. You offer the Owner your services starting at $22.00 for 1.8 hours of labor. If the Owner says, "No", you immediately ask professionally what they had in mind. If the Owners says, "$18.00 for 2.5 hours", you throw in an incentive and readjust your rate in 5% increments below your original offer with the maximum discount being 10% or until an agreement is reached that you can live with. Note: Do not sell yourself short, know the labor rates in your country, state, province, county or district.)

3) Once a verbal agreement has been discussed, go a step further and make the Barter a written contract. Most legally binding contracts possess a date, two signatures of the parties establishing the agreement, a statement explaining the implementation of the understanding of the exchange of goods or services and a disclaimer protecting yourself (or) business from any unforeseen circumstances that may occur.

4) Always, be polite, professional, on-time and very knowledgeable. If you are going to meet with the Individual or Company that you desire to create this form of venture with, be on time or at least (15) fifteen minutes ahead of schedule. Dress professional, be clean and well groomed.

5) Think positive at all times. Always have at least (5) five plans to pursue regarding your barter. If the person or business says "No" on the initial approach, ask politely for a reason why. Listen carefully to comprehend while making adjustments to your approach or business then, ask to follow-up with them in 1 to 2 weeks time. Follow-up as promised and re-negotiate your offering. Don't give up, give-in or give out if all fails; do not panic. Take a physical and mental break - relax. Find something to take your mind off your situation like giving back (Volunteering), then allow yourself to recover while going at it again.

Answer from C. Henry: Since 1998, We (BIE, Inc) have slowly emerged. Once, I was laid off from a Major Telecommunications Company which caused me to loss just about everything. Now, I've always had my Business (BIE, Inc.) on the side just waiting for the right moment to grow into an International Communication Conglomerate. Well, anyway...I convinced Relatives to give me an old broke down Station Wagon in their Garage for free. I then bartered with a Mechanic to build a website in lieu of paying for some repairs to the Vehicle.


2. Question to C. Henry: C. Henry, would you barter stocks and bonds with someone for physical items like land or other property?

Answer from C. Henry: If the U.S. Securities Exchange Commission allow you to barter your stocks or bonds...I would definitely take that opportunity into consideration. But, before I say "Yes" or "No", I would check Federal, State, County and Local laws to see if bartering in that magnitude is even legally possible.


3. Question to C. Henry: C. Henry, did you have a written barter system concept to share with the U.S. Federal Government or World regarding bartering.

Answer from C. Henry: Yes.

Widget Press's ModelBaker Founder, Developer, Everything: "Who Is Jonathan Freeman?"



I hope you understand that I don't know if I believe in this saying, "Six (6) Degrees of Separation", but I will agree that there is a time and season for everybody and everything. That being said, my company was seeking assistance with a PHP Development Project when a Colleague located in the Country of Belgium recommended the Atlanta PHP Group.

Well, the Atlanta PHP Group has a Profile located on Facebook. This particular PHP Group meets the 1st Thursday of every month in the Consulate General's Office of Canada located here in Atlanta, Ga USA. The Group discuss information and share knowledge regarding PHP. PHP is PHP: Hypertext Preprocessor developed by Rasmus Lerdorf in 1994. It is a code placed in HTML or web page language. "What!!!?" Seriously, that is the actual definition.

Moreover, following another meeting in downtown Atlanta that I attended that night; I drove over to their gathering and a Young Man by the name of Jonathan Freeman was giving a presentation with a demonstration of his latest innovative software called, "ModelBaker" on an Apple Computer.

So, who is Jonathan Freedman? Jonathan Freeman is the developer of ModelBaker a PHP, Javascript, Apache Server, CSS, CakePHP and MySQL based software to say the very least.

Alright, being late...I walked in on a history making event. Here was a Person or should I say Computer Software Genius enthralled in sharing his knowledge to a secure building, packed room of Computer Programming PHP Lovers.

Ladies and Gentlemen, here in the beautiful City of Atlanta, G-A, quite possibly the next Microsoft - Type Company (I Mean that in a very nice way; "A Major Software Company") has developed an Innovative way to create extremely dynamic web sites and databases involving PHP, Javascript, MySQL, Apache, CAKEPHP and CSS just to name few open source software languages.

Now, for me being a PC utilizing Business Man...I would have to succumb to using an Apple Computer with 1.25GHz to make web sites, build complex web based databases and much much more starting under $400.00 USD according the "Widget Press" website. By the way, I'm incline to believe that this would be the ideal path to follow in high dynamic web development.

A Characteristic Of Uncommon Valor In Business: "Save Education, Save Morris Brown College!"


The definition of valor is bravery or courage. Which brings to mind a struggling Institution and its characteristics to forge through a mighty battle of mere survival. Their are many acts of valor and as a Veteran, I'm familiar with one unique form of being brave. That is uncommon valor.

Which brings to mind Morris Brown College. Its been six years since Morris Brown College had accreditation and its been several days since the school lost a building to surmounting debt in an auction.

I must admit as a Citizen of Atlanta, I have a serious interest and concern in Morris Brown College.

It is not because I'm of African American Descent or because I'm even a Member of the Church Organization that started this great Institution.

But, it is because I'm aware that this School which many People have stop short of calling a "blasphemy" has transform many lives in the City of Atlanta, County of Fulton, State of Georgia and the United States of America.

The races, creeds and national origins of the lives this particular educational organization has affected over 100 plus years and to this very day has a direct effect on the U.S. and Global Economy whether it be small while insignificant to large of overwhelming proportions.

You might ask, well - how do you know this C. Henry Adams? Stop, take a look around you for instance. If you can find just one person who attended Morris Brown College in your City or Town dead or alive, that is how we know these things.

If you are not convince still yet, that saving this Institution is vital to the City of Atlanta, State of Georgia or even the United States of America...then watch as other Institutions also fall to the way side in this economy and do nothing.

So what do you think? Do you know anyone that attended Morris Brown College that raise a Child or had influence on Children that became influential Adults? Before you answer utilizing race, don't - why, because the underlying factor is "Positive Influence reflecting on all individuals knowingly or unknowingly".

Help Save A School Like Morris Brown College and help reshape our economy by putting Skilled Professionals to work. It's a risk we all should consider taking and mastering the impossibility is now a possibility.
