A Quick Review of R.E.V.I.V.E. City of Atlanta Business Expo 2019

Having pursued the chance to contract with the City of Atlanta with no immediate success and great difficulty years ago; I was weary regarding visiting the 2019 City of Atlanta Business Expo.

Nevertheless, the Georgia World Congress Center was an ideal location for an expo.

It was a honor to standby when Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms made her entrance with entourage.

I thought the continental  breakfast was nice.

Also, a chance to network with Other Local Government Entities, Non-Profit Entities, For-Profit Companies and Business Owners was nice too.

As an early morning riser, I'm learning that being  ' On Time means to be ahead of time, period. '

If one steps into an Expo Hall when it officially opens and the exhibitors are still setting up exhibits or have yet to arrive, what should be interpret?

Pressed for time, I did not make an attempt to visit any break-out sessions.

Final comment:  Due diligence must apply in all aspects of doing business.

The Importance of BGP or Border Gateway Protocol to Telecommunications

Imagine for a moment that you own a smartphone or cellular phone that access the Internet, not to mention - allowed you to receive or send video images of yourself (Telecom & Video Caller A) to another individual (Telecom & Video Caller B)  to say the very less.

OK, its Sunday, June 9th 2019, this mere technology just mention is no longer a figment of the imagination, but a reality.

That being said, I can hear those of my generation saying, " DUH "  or another generation saying, " REALLY C. Henry !? ".

(LOL)

Well, here is my poignant statement,  " Pay close attention to high technology and learn all that you can about it. "

Why?  Well, from an ordinary person, investor and business owner point of view; it is important to identify what could have vast effects on your daily life, investments or business.

So, speaking in those regards from a telecommunications stand point; when a little bird tweets on your screen regarding information that's not fake news in reference to technology, whether it be on your desktop computer, laptop computer, electronic tablet, smartphone, smartwatch, video game, in your vehicle or even IoT Household appliances; take a moment to read or listen for comprehension.

So, what is the end game of this discussion?   Answer: Learn about BGP or Border Gateway Protocol.

What?   BGP is a large scale Internet Protocol utilized to exchange routing and other information among autonomous systems (AS) on the Internet.  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Border_Gateway_Protocol

Quick Example: BGP Technology allows you (Telecom & Video Caller A) to speak /Video chat with that person (Telecom & Video Caller B) who is visiting Europe from the US with the new smartcard chip they just purchased prior to riding the local train in Paris, France.

Looking In The Wrong Direction

In the form of a cliché;  I heard someone say, " Man, close your eyes, because you are looking in the wrong direction. "

How many times have we all looked in the wrong direction in life?

To even try and grasp the thought or understand the statement above, perhaps, there is a need to define it first.

Consider the meaning of  ' Close your eyes, because you are looking in the wrong direction ' to say that you are pursuing an answer to a problem while seeking the wrong steps to resolve it.

Perhaps, if we live a lifetime from birth to old age, there are (4) four events within our life-cycle that we may or may not experience on this Earth.  It is likely, that we will not have control over each of the following circumstances:

1)  Our own Childhood Development
2)  The likelihood of one or more disasters occurring of some magnitude.
3)  A form of despair with hope restored.
4)  Our own Old Age

The inability to control fate filled moments could be terrifying to think about, but I would like to encourage you NOT to fear. 

Instead, take a moment when one of the (4) four events mentioned above occur. Close your eyes to look within oneself for hope & expectation of positive changes while believing beyond one's conjecture to move forward.  Fore, prayer surely changes things.

On Sunday, April 21st 2019, I was invited to attend dinner with Family & Friends as a Guest.  Because I did not get permission or authorization from my Hosts to mention their names prior to writing this blog, I will not mention their names at this time.

Nevertheless, following the great meal, I had the opportunity to set down with the Lady of the Home and her Colleague & Visitor, Mr. Larry Bennett.

What thought struck me in my mind regarding the Gentleman was that he built mainframe computers for IBM 42 years ago.

Well, 42 years ago was 1977.   I was not old enough to drive a car or pretty much do anything else as a 7 year old.

As I sat with a closed mouth and open ears listening to two renown individuals ( the Lady of the House & Larry Bennett ) converse regarding their accomplishments, I was impressed.

OK, I'm going to shorten the story due to my long tale telling capabilities.

So, there I was observing two 'Liked Minds' or Brilliant Business People.  It was like watching ordinary People who do extra ordinary things.

Mr. Bennett is a Wise Dividend Growth Investor.  Yeah, yeah, you have heard of Warren Buffett, but it is not often we encounter these Investment Gurus up close like Larry Bennett.

What stood out about his character that goes along with his intelligence was the fact that he was down-to-earth and willing to educate anyone seeking to learn about investments.

Here are some thoughts to ponder regarding the wise advice of  Mr. Larry Bennett:

• Try to save 10% of your earnings.
•  Become an avid reader regarding Business & Finance.
• Set a goal to obtain a number of shares of a particular company.
• Perform thorough research regarding companies in stock markets; know what you are
  getting into prior to involving oneself.
• Consider choosing 7 companies that yield or pay dividends.
• Observation or Due Diligence of each selected organization's growth for a 10 year period should be applied.
• Consider discussing the Finance Markets with 'Liked Minds' or Brilliant Business People, privately.
• Spend time with your Family and balance your life.

Finally, to close out this series of 'Wealth Building', please understanding that wealth encompass many more things, then shared in these three (3) blogs:

According to Investopedia,  asset is a resource with economic value that an individual, corporation or country owns or controls with the expectation that it will provide a future benefit. Assets are reported on a company's balance sheet and are bought or created to increase a firm's value or benefit the firm's operations.  https://www.investopedia.com/terms/a/asset.asp

Furthermore, Investopedia define the term liability as a company's legal financial debts or obligations that arise during the course of business operations.  https://www.investopedia.com/terms/l/liability.asp

I recall hearing a very good,  Big Brother Mentor make a profound statement. He said,  " You are either an Asset to someone or a liability.  Once you become liable, your services are no longer useful. "   Dannie James, Sr.

Warning:  This statement could perhaps be interpret in multiple ways.  But, for the purpose of this blog, let's identify a company or organization as a whole being either an Asset or Liability.

Nevertheless, when one recalls the above quote; a flurry of thoughts trickle down within my mind.

These terms & phrases appear as such below:

• Ethics
• Ethical Practices
• Best Practices ( BP )
• Integrity
• Speaking or addressing an issue in a professional forthright tone
• Utilizing Tact
• Utilizing the three F's technique. ( Feel, Felt & Found)

Ethics & Ethical Practices is having knowledge of the right thing to do while being proactive to resolving incidents or situations to say the least.

An organization utilizing ' Best Practices '  ,whereas, regulations, rules, laws or guidelines are implemented regularly, should consider this a high priority.

Integrity should be attributed throughout a company's BP.  Perhaps, a Company's Spokesperson should always speak or address an issue in a professional forthright tone.

Often times, emotional circumstances could elicit behavior unbecoming; utilizing tact is imperative.

Finally, pro-activity helps prepare an establishment for the unexpected.  Utilizing the three F's technique ( Feel, Felt & Found) when conceivably available to resolve an issue; helps
builds business relationships.

Imagine (5) five companies working together to provide solutions for a common client or clients.

Based off the foremost need or needs, one of the companies serve as the Primary Provider of the Contractors for a particular customer. The purchaser is either a multi-million dollar or multi-billion dollar buyer.

W2 or W-2 in the above illustration is identified in the United States as a Internal Revenue Service Tax Form that employers utilize to report taxes withheld from employees.   Thus, we are recognizing a business that provides these forms while legally reporting taxes taken to submit to the US Federal Government.

1099 or Form 1099 in the above illustration is identified in the United States as an Internal Revenue Service Tax Form that companies provide independent contractors with to report the various types of income they may receive throughout the year.  Note: There are a number of different 1099 forms, but our focus point here is on independent contractors.

Can a business contract as an  independent contractor with another business?   Answer:  Yes

A Teaming Arrangement (TA) is also a Contractor Team Arrangement (CTA) which two or more organizations come together to provide a total solution to meet a particular customer's needs.

Thus, the model mentioned above recognizes an organizational structure that could be conceived as a TA or CTA.  Please understand that wealth encompass many more things than mentioned.

'Benefit' is define as an advantage or profit gained from something.

So, what must you do to gain something or possess a financial profit for possibly decades?

The simple answer is in bullet points below:

1) Make up within your mind by establishing the firm thought to prosper.
2) Plan the journey to gain something or possess financial profit, then simply implement it.
3) Focus on this venture.
4) Identify various legal & moral ways to gaining more stability.
5) Prepare to enhance oneself, as well as, others involved in the undertaking while being available to learn, adapt and overcome obstacles to success each new day.
6) Share while giving during the development or enhancement of your ' soft skills or people skills '.

The Definition of Wealth According to Marion Lewis Adams, Sr.

Roughly 24 years ago in June of 1995, my former Soulmate (Former Wife) & I  visited my parents who once lived in the Community of Collier Heights; within a little known subdivision called, ' Kevin Heights ' - located off of Tribble Lane & Linkwood Road; Northwest Atlanta, Georgia.

This particular visit was unique in many ways, fore, it would be the last time that I would see my Father alive, speak with or even do the rarest of things with him - hug.

This particular visit was also where a Father presented his youngest son, one of the greatest gifts that he could ever part with as a result of the fruits of his labors.

Therefore, to be blessed time and time again, knowingly or unknowingly; it is my humble desire to share that very gift with you the reader.

To do so, allow me to finish telling this true story to the best of my knowledge.

I sat down with Marion Lewis Adams, Sr. and I told him, " Daddy, I just came by to thank you and Momma for everything that you all have done for me and I love you.

During the course of the conversation with him, he told me the greatest secret of wealth that could be beneficial to all that listen while learning from it for decades to come.

He said, " Close your mouth and open your ears.  I'm going to tell you the definition of wealth."

Then, he said, " Wealth is not the amount of money you keep in your pockets or possess. But, it is the Family and Friends that you keep. These are your resources. Fore you see, with Family whether they are blood relatives (genetically connected) or NOT , as well as, Friends - you have formed BONDS for years. Therefore, things or objects that people with money could not easily obtain,
you will receive with ease. "Think about what has been said and ponder on this thought while being proactive regarding this matter for decades to come!

FEBRUARY - 4 Even 7 Day Weeks

One day, a wise older man sat on a bench in a park when a young boy familiar with him while walking home from school, stop to greet him.   This is the conversation that ensued.

Young Boy:  Greetings Elder

Wise Older Man:   Hello Young Man, how are you?

Young Boy:  I'm well, just coming from school.

Wise Older Man:   Outstanding job, you have just completed the 1st seven even days.

With a puzzled look upon the child's head, he made this statement to the wise older man.

Young Boy: Seven is an odd number.  How many seven even days is it?

Wise Older Man: In this very short month, it is only 4.

So, I ask you;  what Month was it and to which day of the Month did this conversation allude to...?

If you answered February and proposed the day to be the 7th, you are correct.

Fore, there are (4) four seven day weeks in this month which equal to 28 even days.

Monday Morning Contracting Tip (01/28/19)

Government Shutdown

What happens when the government decides to shut the government down again?  “Be Prepared”

I didn’t share much about the government shutdown during the shutdown because we were already in the shutdown, but I’d like to share some information about preparing for the next shutdown that we hope not to see in the next three weeks or so, but possible. There is a need to review the issues and challenges presented by shutdowns in order to remain prepared for what may come.

• Be very familiar with the clauses incorporated in the terms and conditions of the contract awarded
• Contractors must determine whether they will continue performing or stop work
• A government shutdown is not a self-executing stop-work order
• The shutdown itself does not suspend a company’s obligation to perform nor does it release the government its obligation to pay for performance   
• It can be determined if the contractor’s work require any new appropriation or authorization of spending  
• There’s also a need to identify whether critical government personnel, facilities and resources are available
• It is important to have Direct contact with your Contracting Officer, if your contracting officer issues a stop-work order, then stop work and comply with the order.
• If you do not receive a stop-work order, then you must consider (1) whether your contract is deemed required to support "exempt" government activities and (2) how your contract is funded.    

One important compliance requirement to understand, does your contract required to support activities exempt from the Anti-Deficiency Act?

Many of the legal complications of a government shutdown derive from the Anti-Deficiency Act, which makes it a crime to obligate the United States to spend funds that Congress has not previously appropriated.

Humility Has The Uncanning Way Of Helping One Understand Write-Offs

First, I would like to thank God for allowing me to see this day, a day never before seen and once its gone; it will never reveal itself again. 

Why?  Because, it is yet the beginning of humility for those of us who seek its new cycle while being aware that we still dwell on Earth.

A ' write-off  ' define in this particular blog is one person who has experienced a level of hardship, whereas, others disregard his or her abilities by assuming that their incapability to arise above despair during a season is inevitable. Thus, Associates, Friends and even Family turn their backs against the less fortunate individual.

If you are a believer in God (or) if you choose to simply think that He does not exist, I can not fault you one way or another. But, sanity should not be define by one's actions to correct mistakes, nevertheless, by their in-actions to correct their errors in life.

Personal experiences has lead oneself to believe that there is certainly a force far greater than its own.

Thus, the point of this discussion must apply here.  If you elect to write-off an individual, understand their current fate in life is not unlike your own.

Perhaps, some of us just rise above adversity better than others.  If you choose to forsake them (Write-offs), then one day during these never before seen cycles, someone will forsake you.

Not Just A Chess Game, But Wisdom From Youth

Recently, I had the opportunity to sat and play Chess with a wise young man at the age of 20 years old named, Kito Jones while in Downtown Atlanta, Georgia.   Prior to playing this particular opponent, I had the honor of playing Chess with other individuals.

Typically, because I have not played Chess in a number of years against any worthy or unworthy individual, instead of trash English talking in an attempt to 'Psych' my competitor out;  I often state the following excuse:

" I'm just practicing while playing Chess." 

But actually, I was really redirecting my mind to improve focus on creating 'Strategy'.

Nevertheless,  I was honored to recognized that young Kito Jones learned well from his own Father.  Kito told me that his Father started teaching him the Game of Chess at the age of 5 years old.

During a series of matches, he made some profound statements that any Father would be glad to hear.

He clearly understood that a loss is never a loss, unless you do not learn from it.

Perhaps, redirected - the above statement is a great life lesson learned when developing a successful venture of any kind.

When I asked Kito Jones to elaborate on the comment, he stated the following;

'When you learn from a loss, it becomes an experience.  Through experiences, perhaps you gain knowledge and wisdom.'I once heard  the following saying, 'Out of the mouths of babes, God speaks'.

Indeed he does in my professional opinion.   Well, these are my thoughts, what say you?

"Taking the High Road out of Love & Respect"

November 11th 2018


Giving Honor to God, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit; thank you for allowing me to see, yet another day on this Earth.

For 48 years of my short life span, I have been a member of an African Methodist Episcopal Church somewhere in the United States of America.  

Under the directions of my late parents' guidance, this particular Church developed me as an individual while helping to raise myself into Manhood.

Today, I stand as an American Citizen, Veteran of the USMC, Registered Voter,  Entrepreneur and man that know no boundaries when faced with adversity.

Since the year 2000, I've served in Christ Community AME Church as a Member, Trustee and finally a Steward.

I am grateful to Senior Pastor C. O Adams, Jr., his wife, immediate family, as well as, my Christ Community Church Family for the love, generosity and support shown to myself for 18 years.

Therefore, I tender my resignation effectively immediately as a Member and Officer while taking the high road with love and respect.

I sincerely pray that God will continue to bless this Church in its future endeavors.

Challenges In Contacting Background Check Websites To Request Removal

As a Consultant, now going over 20 years or at least since 1998; I have not been without hardships.

As a Realist and Optimist, I realized life is short.  Each day that we have the chance or opportunity to just wake up to see another day is in itself a miracle.

So, why lie about individuals, people, organizations, companies or even countries that one obviously would know very little about?

This is the question that I asked myself when I recently read false, misleading information pertaining to my personal life on the Internet.

The web site is called, MyLife.com.  After reading about me, I stop and controlled my passions or emotions.   Something that I could not do years ago.

But, I guess today is a new day.

At this point in my life,  I have learn to fall.  Then, turn over and lay on my back where I have fallen.

Why?  Well,  if I can look up, perhaps, I can get back up again to be neither here nor there.  In other words keep moving while being on my way forward in life.

The term 'conclude' has two meanings.   One meaning would be to arrive at a judgement or opinion by some sort of reasoning.  While the other meaning would bring an existence to an end.

So, perhaps it could be said, if you judge, you will be judged.   Therefore, the alternative is not to judge.

I've often heard that when people talk about a person whether it be positive or negative; it could elevate attention to the individual, group of people, organization or even a country to say the very least who has been targeted.

So, how you perceive (become aware of the attack), receive (suffer its affliction) and retrograde ( reverse the effects ) to a more affirmative action in your favor when a character assassination is attempted, takes time moving forward.

While it is a must to recognize immediately the attack; its equally important to address this onslaught in a methodological manner that must become proactive, as opposed to reactive in nature.

Believe it or not, to do so .... you must not conclude the opposing force against you or you would be concluded.

Instead, you must learn to reverberate positive energy as actions to counteract the incursion.

Just a thought.

Talking About Professionally Opinionated Facts

An opinion (Negative or Positive) can NOT be proven or disproved.   However, a fact can be proven or disapproved.  Thus, there lies slander.   < Please, carefully observe key terms written. >

Basically,  being critical of anyone, anything, group or organization could implement positive or even very negative consequences against the messenger.

But, what if you are the Target of the Messenger?

How do you REACT to untangle the web of lies mixed with truth based on opinion?

Answer:   You don't.   Why?   By doing so, you exponentiate or increase the Lies & possibly negative opinion of oneself.

So, what should you do?    Step quietly away from the matter, to pray and or meditate.  Think carefully regarding the cause while spiritually asking for a solution to resolve the issue as you relax calmly.

Sounds crazy?  Actually, its brilliant when one applies the proper discipline to overcome an obstacle in life.

Thus, there lies strategy.

If creating excuses for indicative behavior. Then, what about the lies told to pacify the actions?

The above two statements can easily be taken out of context, therefore, this assertion is my disclaimer; not to be implied or accusing anyone including myself regarding this conversation.

In fact, I will actually utilize the third person poorly to make an example, while investigating a claim and making an indirect attempt to tell the truth.

But, 1st - you must know the truth, to be able to tell the truth.  The truth is; we are human.

We are not perfect and we have all made mistakes.

In this dialogue, it is my hopes, the readers learn from individuals' mistakes while avoiding an unnecessary fate in their lives as a result of them.

Here we go....

Truth: We have all made inadequate course of actions.

Fact: At some point in life, it is likely we have made an attempt to correct those poor selections and abstain from constantly repeating them.

A Professionally Opinionated Fact: Other people do not need to know all of the bad choices we made, (if) we are not showing signs of repeating them.

Question: So, what would someone need to know about you in particular? 

Answer:   Based on time and close observations which should be verifiable by FACTS while not LIES; one's overall character. 

Why? 

Fore, how you choose to conduct yourself around others or NOT around them is indeed your business or prerogative of its own.

Today, I woke up and saw the light from the Sun, our Star, then realize I made it to another day.  A day that I've never seen before and once its gone, I will never see it again.

This to me, is the first sign of survival in a World mixed with Good and Evil.

Today, because I have the power and know while humbly realizing that I have ability to think then, manifest things to be positive or negative in my life; I choose to be positive while good.

So, when one, whether it be a person, a group of people, an organization or any type of principality set out to destroy me while causing all manners of evil to befall upon me, I will in the end prevail.

Extraordinary Sewing Group

In May of 2017 while visiting the Adams Center located on the campus of Christ Community AME Church in Clarkston, Georgia, I walked into a sewing class by happenstance.

Well, I did not think much of the ordinary looking class, until I sat down and listen to the extraordinary capabilities the group of professional women described.

It was quite amazing to hear of all the things made with a sewing machine.  Empowering youth, as well as, adults to learn this unique skill helps build the economy.

As a youth, my late Mother & Father use to say that there was nothing you could not accomplish, if only you put your mind to it.  Operating a sewing machine effectively could be a form of income.

A Will To Grow Any Business Model

Part 2 of  ' Ignorance is Bliss , but not in Commerce '  - A Business Development Series From A Very Different Perspective.

Mentor-ship is an important aspect of Commerce, as well as, life in general.  It should not be taken for granted.  The need for experienced voices in the expansion of your organization is important.

Now that we've gotten your attention regarding how "Not" to mentor.  Which some would say, " C. Henry is putting the cart before the horse, "   My reply:  Not so...

Nevertheless, let's examine a process which will eventually become a continual cycle in the art of performing trade.

The objective of this article is to possess a ' Will ' to grow in any business model.

Let's say, that your "Will" is motivated by some action, event or thought in your life, as well as, others who might join you in a venture.

Broadly speaking, there are two types of motivation.

1) Positive Motivation -  A rewarding technique of sorts for accomplishing certain tasks.

2) Negative Motivation - Behavior is motivated by anticipation or fear that an undesirable outcome will result from not performing or any other instance not positive.

Nevertheless, after this particular recognition, there is a 'State of Mind' to be examine in becoming a Proprietor.

To start a business, perhaps, you might consider carrying out (3) three stages of development  as a result of one or both said motivations mentioned above:

Stage 1 -  Think & Dream about your Business.

Stage 2 -   Know what you are getting into before you get into it. 

a)  Research
b)  Study
c)  Properly assess it legally and calculate the cost to the best of your knowledge
d)  Prepare to change or improve your prospective on life as you learn to interact with many different people.

Stage 3 - Weight your options.  Improve your personal credit before taking on a venture.  Encourage partners to follow in the same manner.  Then, implement it.

Note:  A successful business venture requires a detail oriented person to interact with it.  This is just one of the many 'hats of responsibility' you will possess.  But remember, if you have a will to grow any business model, success will make you eminent.

Promotion Ceremony of Tina H. Miller to Lieutenant Colonel

On Saturday, November 26th 2016, I had the opportunity to experience the promotion ceremony of Major Tina H. Miller to Lieutenant Colonel ("Lt. Col.") in the United States Army located in the City of Newnan, Georgia.

In 1988, Lt. Col Tina H. Miller graduated from Newnan High School in Newnan, Georgia.  She then enroll into Morris Brown College and by November of 1989 enlisted into the US Army as a Combat Medic and served during the Gulf War.

Later after several Conflicts, she returned to Morris Brown College to earn a Bachelor's Degree in Early
Childhood Education.  From 1989 to 2016, 27 years, she worked her way upwards from a Enlisted Soldier to become an Officer with a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership.

Today, as Lt. Col., she serves as the Deputy Secretary of the General Staff in the Command Group, United States Army Reserve Command (USARC).

Lt. Col. Tina H. Miller is a prime example of what my late Mother & Father often told me growing up.  That was, " You can achieve anything in life, if you put your mind to it."   Well, those are my thoughts, what say you?

2017 Valentine's Day: Know That You Are Loved

This morning, I woke up and saw that it was a new day.

Fore, it is considered Valentine's Day in the USA.

I thank God for allowing us to see, yet another day, never before as it seem.

So, when it goes away tonight,  you and I will never again experience it like we did this very moment with gleam.

But, God says show unconditional love this very day and everyday with the upmost respect for him above.

• The organization has an established process for effectively evaluating the government’s solicitation, assessing risks against opportunities, and deciding whether to submit a proposal or not.
• The bid/no-bid decision process is standardized throughout the organization and is mandatory for all opportunities.
• The bid/no-bid decision process is well documented, and some portions may be automated.
• The bid/no-bid decision process results in a final decision about whether to bid on the project and a formal document justifying the decision.
• Senior organizational managements, both functional and program, are involved in providing input and approval of key bid/no-bid decisions and documents.
• The team responsible for the bid/no-bid decision process includes representatives from Subject Matter Experts (SME) and other functional areas of the organization.
• The bid/no-bid decision process is fully integrated with other organizational process, such as cost management, engineering and program management.
• The bid/no-bid decision process includes an integrated assessment of risks that involves identifying analyzing, and mitigating project risks.
• The organization uses efficiency and effectiveness metrics in systematic evaluations of the bid/no-bid decision process
• The organization adopts lessons learned and best practices as methods for continuously improving the bid/no-bid decision.

The only way the Bid/No-Bid Decision – Making process work is that your organization must create a pipeline of opportunities. If there’s a Pipeline of opportunities, there’s time to ensure the Bid/no-bid process is implemented and executed properly. “Make the right decision to Bid or No Bid”.

The McCrae Family Response

On Monday, January 30th 2017 with little fanfare and much love, I accompanied the McCrae Family and Friends alone with a Fraternal Order of Brothers and Sisters to journey from the Metro Atlanta area ( Decatur, Georgia ) and Macon, Georgia to Dougherty County, Georgia ( the City of Albany ).   

This was an effort made by John and Dot McCrae to assist victims of the South Georgia Natural Disaster that occurred on Sunday, January 22nd 2017 claiming several lives while displacing many others.

Their mission was simple; feed the victims and first responders a hot meal, give away clothing, care packages and additional food with love.

With the help of Family Members, Friends, Churches, Civic Organizations and Small Business(es) they accomplished their goal and showed great admiration with outstanding support.

If you never experienced a natural disaster up close and personal, be thankful.  Fore, the experience whether you are a survivor, first responder or volunteer is not easy to forget.

The definition of surreal is quite simple.  Fore, it is the occurrence of something that appears unreal, unusual, weird and in other words,  a state of being that is not normal.

I make reference to the term surreal to warn the readers that once you step foot into a disaster area or even a war zone of destruction, you could likely be effected by it psychologically.

Nevertheless, if the Spirit of God instructs you to give a helping to others, perhaps you ought to listen. 

Why?  Well, the life you may help save, may very well be your own.   I know that sounds a little creepy, but do not take it to mean something in a bad manner.

Why?  Being blessed and returning your blessings by helping others only makes you stronger and better.

Paying it forward for someone else, will return to you one day when you least expect it.
